Creating a Booking Engine API Instance – Help Center

The Booking Engine API is currently in testing phase and is not yet available to all of our users. Please contact us if you would like to use it.

Create a Booking Engine API instance in Guesty and use it to connect one of your booking websites to Guesty, separate from Guesty's Booking Website. Follow the instructions below.

Step by step:

Sign in to your Guesty account.
In the top menu, hover over Integrations.
From the drop-down, select Distribution.
Click the Booking Engine API thumbnail.
Click Create a booking engine API instance.
Fill in the required information: Learn more here.
Click Save.
You will be redirected to a list of all Booking Engine API instances in your Guesty account: To the right of the relevant instance, click Show API tokens.
Copy the "Client Secret credentials" and "Client ID credentials" and share it with your developer.

Important:

The "Client Secret credentials" and "Client ID credentials" will allow external developers to access the selected content on the specific Booking Engine API. Please make sure not to share those keys with any third party.

Note:

You can create up to five Booking Engine API instances, allowing you to connect up to five booking websites to Guesty - one website per engine.
